They sure live up to their name. The snow is disappearing fast. Soon it will be one of my favorite seasons: "Brown Time".
That is the time, late March and early April, after the snow melts and before the grass really starts coming up. It is a time for leasurely poking around the land, tidying up, making some brush piles, rediscovering the place all over again.
There is no rush yet, that comes in May. Everything still seems possible.
Some years the snow cover lingers till Mid April, and we move straight from being stuck to Panic Season. This time it looks like we'll be clear in another week at most, Hurray!
